Mollucela(Bells of island)

Molucella, also known as Bells of Ireland, originates from Turkey and Syria. Belonging to the mint family, it is a popular choice for weddings. The distinctive feature of molucella is its tiny white flowers surrounded by bell-shaped green petals, which grow along the length of a single stem, hence the name 'Bells of Ireland.' In Victorian times, molucella symbolized good luck. Molucella is commonly available as a cut flower in wholesale markets, typically sold in wraps of 10 stems. Stem lengths range from 60cm to 100cm tall.
